Our History

Serving communities in Zambia since 2008.

Our Story & Mission

The Medical Mission of Hope to Zambia is a non-profit Christian charitable organization registered with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) of the USA, State Corporation of the Commonwealth of Virginia and Patents and Companies Registration Agency (PACRA) of the Republic of Zambia.

Since 2008, MMHZ has organized an annual medical and educational mission trips to Zambia providing opportunities for volunteers to render medical, dental and educational services and support to the village of Feira located in the Luangwa River Valley of Eastern Zambia.

However, from 2023, MMHZ started providing clean water services, schools, churches and rural health center support to the communities of rural Mwembeshi in Chilanga district area of Lusaka Province.

Our Projects & Impact
  • Construction of a classroom block for preschoolers and drilling of Solar-powered boreholes at Maano Primary School and Mwembeshi Revival Center communities

  • Renovation of computer lab at Mwembeshi Primary and Secondary School

  • Donation of Medical equipment, devices and supplies to rural health centers and individuals

  • Purchase of a Mobile Dental Clinic to provide dental services in the Luangwa Valley

  • Donation of Medical supplies and materials

  • Donation of Physical/Occupational Therapy equipment and materials to the local hospital
